Friday Aug. 22		12 p.m.-2 p.m. Annual Honors Faculty Meeting
Sunday Aug. 24		Honors Program Mentor Dessert Bash 2 - 4 p.m., Beckman Hall An informal meeting, with a dessert bar, for new students who have been admitted into the University Honors Program. Learn about the program and meet your mentor and other returning Honors students. This will be a chance for incoming students to introduce themselves and to find out about opportunities for becoming involved with Honors in the coming year.

Nov. 7-9		National Collegiate Honors Council Conference – San Diego, CA Students will present their research and projects at this annual conference attended by Honors programs from throughout the United States and abroad.

Dec-Jan. TBD		NCHC and WRHC Conference Abstracts Due Abstracts for oral presentations and posters for the 2025 Western Regional Honors Council conferences are due. Abstracts must be approved by the Honors Advisory Board before they are submitted to conference judges. Learn how to submit a winning abstract.
TBD		Sapere Aude Journal Launch Party
Thursday Dec. 11		Procrastination Party Honors Commons The fabled Procrastination party - an annual event during finals week. Join your fellow Honors students and take a break from studying and enjoy free food.
Jan. 5-30		Interterm Session

FEBRUARY 2026
Wednesday Feb. 12		Platonic Valentine's Day Celebration! Honors Commons Join Honors for treats and sweets in the Honors Commons in celebration of friendship and community.

Friday Mar. 13		Pre-Pi Day Celebration Honors Commons Join Honors as we celebrate Pi Day!! Take a break from studying and relax with delicious pie and wonderful company!

APRIL 2026
Apr. TBD		Western Regional Honors Council Conference – University of Nevada, Las Vegas Students will present their research and projects at this annual conference attended by Honors programs from over 14 Western states.
Thursday April 16		Fireside Chat 7 - 9 p.m., Details to follow. An Honors professor will host students at their home or local restaurant for dinner and discussion. Watch for more information and how to RSVP!

MAY 2026
Saturday May 2		The 16th Annual University Honors Conference 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Beckman Hall Honors seniors will present their capstone projects. The conference is followed by lunch and presentation of senior awards. Attendance at this event is required for all Honors students. Missing the conference will lead to probation or dismissal from the program.
Thursday May 14		Procrastination Party Honors Commons The fabled Procrastination party - an annual event during finals week. Join your fellow Honors students and take a break from studying to play Sporcle and enjoy free food.
May 22-24		Commencement Congratulations to the Honors Class of 2026!
