Visit Outlook.chapman.edu.

For first-time setup, please follow the instructions below.

1. Open the Outlook app.
2. Click "Get Started."
3. Choose your preferred "look" (Colorful or Classic) and click "Continue."
4. Click "Start Using Outlook"
5. Enter your Chapman University Email address ([email protected])
6. Enter your Chapman University account password and click "Sign In."
7. Click "Done."
   
   

To add an account, please follow the instructions below.

1. Open the Outlook app.
2. Click "Tools."
3. Click "Accounts."
4. Click the "+" (Plus sign) on the bottom-left side of the screen.
5. Enter your Chapman University Email address ([email protected])
6. Enter your Chapman University account password and click "Sign In."
7. Click "Done."

1. Go to the “Settings” app
2. Select “Password & Accounts”
3. Select “Add Account”
4. Select “Exchange”
5. Enter your full Chapman University email address
6. Select “Sign In” only. DO NOT select “configure manually.”
7. Select “Work or school account.”
8. Enter your Chapman University “password.”
9. Select “Accept” on the permissions requested page.
10. Set which apps to sync with your mail (i.e., Contacts, Calendars, reminders, etc.)

1. Go to the “Settings” app
2. Select “Password & Accounts”
3. Under “Accounts”, select your Chapman University “Exchange account”
4. Select “Delete” account.
5. Select “Delete from my iPhone”

Android email setup varies from device to device. To set up your Android device, do the following:

1. Go to Settings
2. Then open Accounts
3. Tap on Add Account
4. Choose Exchange Activesync, Microsoft Exchange, or Corporate for the account type
5. You may need to provide all or some of the following
    a. Email address: [email protected]
    b. Account: [email protected] (Chapman Email)
    c. Password: Your Chapman password
    d. Domain name: (LEAVE BLANK)
6. Check the check box to use an SSL connection
7. You will get a warning that Exchange has security features that will need to be enforced. You must agree to this to receive emails on your device.
8. Choose the items you want to sync on your device.

If you have enrolled your account into the Self-Service Password Reset tool, go to password.chapman.edu, type your email, and click next. On the next screen, select “Forgot my password.” Follow the instructions to reset your password.

If you have not yet entered your security questions or your answer is not accepted, contact the Service Desk. You will be asked two or more questions to confirm your identity.
