Biography
John Bishop is a Visiting Professor at the Dale E. Fowler School of Law, serving as the Faculty Advisor for the Moot Court, Mock Trial, and Alternative Dispute Resolution competition teams. He also teaches courses in Negotiations and Client Interviewing and Counseling, as well as Selected Topics in American Law.
Professor Bishop is also a partner at Ray & Bishop, PLC, in Newport Beach, practicing administrative law in the area of professional license defense. Ray & Bishop have exclusively hired graduates from the Dale E. Fowler School of Law since Bishop joined the firm in 2011.
John Bishop received his undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University
of Southern California, and his JD, cum laude, from the Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2011, where he served as President of the
Moot Court team and as Submissions Editor of the Chapman Law Review. At graduation, his classmates voted him "Most likely to become a Chapman Law professor."
