Mariam Hamed is a senior FX artist and lecturer based in Los Angeles. With a career spanning more than six years, Mariam has established herself as a leading authority in the field, blending technical expertise with a passion for storytelling.
Hamed’s career highlights include collaborations with industry giants such as DreamWorks Animation, where she lent her talents to projects such as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken and Kung Fu Panda 4. Her work on Disney's Oscar-winning film Encanto further solidified her reputation for delivering captivating visual effects that elevate narrative storytelling. Additionally, Hamed has made significant contributions to the small screen, including the Netflix series Love Death + Robots, and to the gaming industry by working on multiple cinematics including Magic: The Gathering and World of Warcraft.
